Job Description
UPSC has notified the Engineering Services Examination, 2027 (Notice No. 02/2027-ENGG.) for Group A and B engineering services in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication. The notice puts the vacancies at approximately 480, including 19 for PwBD candidates. Online applications close on 6 October 2026 at 6:00 PM. The Preliminary exam is on 31 January 2027 and the Mains on 18 June 2027.

How to apply
- Go to upsconline.nic.in and create or update your One Time Registration (OTR).
- Choose 'Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2027' and fill in the Examination Specific Module.
- Select your engineering stream and exam centres, and upload your photo, signature and ID details.
- Pay the Rs. 200 fee online or in cash at an SBI branch (if not exempt).
- Submit before 6:00 PM on 6 October 2026. Applications cannot be withdrawn after submission.
