UPSC Various Posts Recruitment 2026 – 13 Posts, Apply by 16 Oct

The Union Public Service Commission has released Advertisement No. 12/2026 for direct recruitment by selection to 13 posts across Central Government and Delhi organisations. Online applications opened on 26 September 2026 and must be submitted by 18:00 hrs on 16 October 2026 through the UPSC online portal.

Vacancy details in the official notice are: Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology) – 1 post (OBC) at the National Sugar Institute, Kanpur; Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade IV, Indian Legal Service) – 8 posts in the Legislative Department, Ministry of Law and Justice; Law Officer – 3 posts in the Land and Building Department, GNCT of Delhi; and Specialist Grade II (Junior Scale)–Cardiology – 1 post (OBC) in New Delhi Municipal Council.

Eligibility snapshot

• Junior Technical Officer (Sugar Technology): Degree in Science or Engineering with Associateship or PG Diploma in Sugar Technology, plus three years’ relevant teaching, research, advisory or sugar-factory managerial experience. Pay Level-10; age up to 38 years for OBC.
• Assistant Legislative Counsel (Grade IV, ILS): Law degree with the prescribed judicial / legal-department / teaching / practice experience. Pay Level-11; age up to 40 (UR/EWS), 43 (OBC), 45 (SC).
• Law Officer (GNCTD): Law degree with two years’ legal practice or government legal work. Pay Level-07; age up to 30 (UR), 33 (OBC).
• Specialist Grade II – Cardiology (NDMC): Recognised medical qualification with DM (Cardiology) or equivalent and three years’ post-PG specialty experience. Pay Level-11 plus NPA; age up to 48 years for OBC.
