The ICMR–National Institute for Tribal Health Research (ICMR-NITHR), Jabalpur, has invited eligible candidates for walk-in interviews under Advertisement No. 05/2026-27. About 25 project posts (Project Research Scientist, Project Administrative Officer, Project Field Officer, Project Technical Support, Senior Project Assistant, Project Assistant and Project MTS) will be filled on a temporary and contractual basis for about three months or till finalisation of the manpower outsourcing GeM contract, whichever is earlier. A separate Young Professional-I (Admin) engagement (1 post) under the same advertisement number is also being interviewed on 6 October 2026.

Eligibility (summary)

Essential qualifications vary by post and include MBBS/BVSc/BDS with postgraduate degrees for senior research scientist posts, postgraduate degrees (with or without PhD / experience) for several Project Research Scientist-I/II posts, and graduate / 12th+DMLT / 10th+diploma / 10th with experience for technical support, assistant and MTS posts. Age limits are post-specific (for example, not exceeding 45 / 40 / 35 years for various scientist levels; YP-I Admin below 30 years).
