Eligibility
Candidates need a bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree in one of the disciplines listed in the notice. These include food technology and related food engineering or processing subjects, agricultural science subjects (such as agriculture, dairy technology, fisheries and horticulture), biotechnology, oil technology, veterinary sciences, biochemistry, microbiology, chemistry or medicine, or a degree in MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS or Sowa Rigpa. Hindi or Sanskrit must have been studied up to matriculation, or Hindi in higher education. Selected candidates must complete the training prescribed by the Food Authority after appointment. A person with a financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food cannot be appointed.
Selection process
According to the advertisement, selection may include a screening test, a subject knowledge test and an interview.
