Job Description
The Bihar Technical Service Commission has invited online applications under Advertisement No. 27/2026 for 787 posts of Touring Veterinary Officer (Bhramanshil Pashu Chikitsa Padadhikari) and equivalent in the Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department. Eligibility
Essential: B.V.Sc. or B.V.Sc. & A.H. from a university recognised by the Veterinary Council of India, and permanent registration with the Bihar Veterinary Council. Certificates must be issued on or before 23 October 2026. Reservation benefits apply only to Bihar domicile candidates; others compete as Unreserved. A 50% horizontal reservation applies for graduates of veterinary colleges located in Bihar.
Exam pattern (CBT)
100 objective questions, 2 hours, +1 / −0.25, bilingual (Hindi/English), minimum 30% qualifying, normalisation if multi-shift. Syllabus will be published separately on the BTSC site.
