SSC JE 2026 Application Correction Window – 28 to 30 September

Staff Selection Commission has opened a short correction window for candidates who applied for the Junior Engineer Examination, 2026 (including Scientific Assistant posts in IMD). The online application period was 2–22 September 2026. Candidates whose complete applications and fee were received on time can correct details between 28 and 30 September 2026.

Correction rules

  • Only candidates with a completed application and paid fee (if applicable) can use the window.
  • You may resubmit a corrected form up to two times during the window.
  • The latest corrected form becomes the valid one; earlier versions are cancelled.
  • Correction charges apply to all categories and are non-refundable.
  • After 30 September 2026 (23:00 hrs), no further changes are allowed by post, email or hand.

What to check before correcting

Verify category, educational qualifications, preferred engineering stream (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical / Telecom / IMD Scientific Assistant subjects), centres and contact details carefully. The stream chosen for Paper-I and Paper-II cannot be changed later under any circumstances.
