SSC CGL 2026 Notification Released - 12,256 Vacancies Announced

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 notification for recruitment to various Group B and Group C posts in different ministries and departments of the Government of India.

• The SSC CGL 2026 notification was released on May 21, 2026 on the official website ssc.gov.in.
• A total of approximately 12,256 tentative vacancies have been announced across various posts.
• Online applications are open from May 21, 2026 to June 22, 2026 (till 11:00 PM).
• The Tier-I Computer Based Examination is expected to be conducted in August-September 2026.
• Tier-II examination is tentatively scheduled for December 2026.
• Educational qualification required is a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university for most posts.
• Age limit varies between 18 to 32 years depending on the post category with relaxations applicable for reserved categories.
• Application fee is Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates while SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates are exempted.
• The selection process includes Tier-I, Tier-II, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination where applicable.
• Candidates are advised to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) on the SSC portal well in advance.
