NTA Dismisses Claims of NEET-UG 2026 Re-Exam Paper Leak, Warns of Strict Action In a major development on 6th June 2026, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has categorically dismissed as "false and fraudulent" the viral social media claims alleging leak or sale of the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination question paper. The agency has warned of strict legal action against those spreading misinformation. The re-examination is scheduled for 21st June 2026 after the original May 2026 exam was cancelled following confirmed irregularities and paper leak allegations. NTA stated that no question paper has been leaked and all circulating messages are aimed at misleading students and parents. The agency has already escalated the matter to the Cyber Crime cell for investigation. NTA reiterated that the re-exam will be conducted with enhanced security protocols including biometric authentication and CCTV surveillance at all centres. Students and parents have been advised to rely only on official NTA communications and avoid falling prey to fake news and fraudulent Telegram/ WhatsApp channels claiming to sell papers. This comes amid ongoing CBI investigation into the original paper leak network that allegedly operated across Rajasthan, Delhi, and other states. The re-exam has already caused significant mental stress among lakhs of aspirants, with reports of anxiety and uncertainty in coaching hubs like Kota and Sikar.
