DSSSB Recruitment 2026 Notification - 1,979 Posts of TGT and Other Teaching Cadres in Delhi Government Schools

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has issued a major recruitment notification for 1,979 posts of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) and other teaching positions in Delhi government schools under the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi.

• The vacancies are available in multiple subjects including TGT Mathematics, TGT Science, TGT Social Science, TGT English, TGT Hindi, TGT Sanskrit and other language subjects for teaching classes VI to X in Delhi government schools.
• Educational qualification required for TGT posts is a Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject along with B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification recognized by NCTE. CTET qualification is mandatory for many teaching posts as per government rules.
• Age limit for most posts is 30 years as on the cut-off date with upper age relaxation applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, government servants and other eligible categories as per Delhi government recruitment rules.
• Selection process generally consists of a one-tier or two-tier written examination followed by document verification and medical fitness test. The examination is conducted in online mode (Computer Based Test).
• Pay scale for TGT posts is Level-7 (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400) as per 7th Central Pay Commission along with dearness allowance, house rent allowance and other benefits applicable to Delhi government employees.
