SSC Selection Posts Phase XIV 2026 Notification

The Staff Selection Commission released the Selection Posts Phase XIV 2026 Notification on 13th April 2026 for recruitment to approximately 2,919–3,003 vacancies in various Group B and Group C posts across different Ministries, Departments and Subordinate Offices of the Government of India.

• Total Vacancies: Around 3,000 posts (exact post-wise and category-wise breakup available in the detailed advertisement on regional SSC websites).
• Educational Qualification: Posts are categorized for Matriculation (10th), Higher Secondary (12th) and Graduation level candidates. Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification as on the crucial date mentioned in the notice.
• Age Limit: 18 to 42 years (upper age limit varies post-wise with relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per rules).
• Selection Process: Computer Based Examination (CBE) followed by Skill Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination wherever applicable.
• Important Dates: Online application window was open from 13 April 2026 to 4 May 2026 (11:00 PM). Fee payment last date was 5 May 2026. Correction window: 11–13 May 2026. Computer Based Exam tentatively scheduled for June 2026.
• Application Fee: ₹100 for General/OBC/EWS male candidates. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen are exempted.
• How to Apply: Applications were accepted online through the SSC website (ssc.gov.in) and respective regional websites. Candidates had to select the post and region carefully as per eligibility.
• Posts Included: Various posts such as Laboratory Assistant, Deputy Ranger, Upper Division Clerk, Data Entry Operator, Junior Secretariat Assistant and many other technical and non-technical posts.
• Salary Structure: Posts carry Pay Level 2 to Pay Level 6 of the 7th CPC (₹19,900 to ₹1,12,400 basic pay plus allowances).
