SSC CGL 2026 Recruitment – 12,256 Vacancies

The Staff Selection Commission has released the official notification for Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2026 for recruitment to various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in different Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

• Total Tentative Vacancies: Approximately 12,256 posts
• Posts include Assistant Section Officer, Inspector, Assistant, Auditor, Accountant, Tax Assistant, and many more
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University
• Age Limit: Generally 18 to 32 years (relaxations applicable as per government rules)
• Online Application Period: 21 May 2026 to 22 June 2026 (11:00 PM)
• Tier-I Computer Based Examination: Expected in August – September 2026
• Tier-II Examination: Tentatively scheduled in December 2026
• Application Fee: Rs. 100 for General/OBC male candidates; exempted for SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates
• Selection Process: Tier-I (Qualifying), Tier-II, followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination (wherever applicable)
• Candidates must complete One Time Registration (OTR) on SSC portal before applying
